As a Christian Educator, my overall goal is to make sure that each and every one of my students feels loved, the way that Jesus loves them. This kind of love is not the worlds view of “love” but it’s self-sacrifice love that emulates God’s love for each and every individual in the school. Each student needs to know that they were called and chosen by a God who loves them more than anything and it is my duty to make sure every students recognizes that value. As Jesus served and gave His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45), I plan to be rooted in this and serve those who step into my classroom. Serving students in my classroom can be exemplified through nurturing them physically, emotionally and spiritually through their educational journey. My goal is to equip each student with the wisdom, skills and character needed to navigate the challenged of the world in a Christ-like manner. Finally. I believe that grace is an important aspect of Christian education. As sinful people, we will fail repeatedly in our attempts to provide any service worthy of recognition to students. Yet, it is through a humble acknowledgement of Gods power being made perfect in our own weaknesses that we can rely and trust that He will lead students to Himself and unify staff as one body that is part of the universal body of Gods Kingdom on earth.
